On this day

Sixty-two years ago, brave men went to fight for the battle of our lives. We did not hold back. We did what we had to do. Without an investigation, without the Left bitching, without the press going on about it being 6/6/1944, without anyone forgetting just what the stakes were or the price paid for those stakes, without anyone giving up.

Why do I bring this up? Today is D-Day, 62 years later. Had the press and the Congress treated our Military the same way then as they are treating them today, I don't know if we would have won...and that scares me.

God bless all of you who fought, helped, loved, lost, and lived through WWII. We have not forgotten then, and we will not forget now.
