Update on Talker Michael Graham

It has been brought to my attention that Michael Graham is now employed. As a matter of fact, after being fired from ABC-owned WMAL Radio in Washington DC. Michael was offered several opportunities to work for them upon learning of this outrage.

He is now working during the drive home in Boston, Mass. The station is WTKK FM.

In recent weeks, Graham has been filling in as a guest host on WTKK, and according to Greater Media, Inc., the listener response has been "enthusiastic."

So what was the reason he was fired in the first place? Michael had made a statement that most of us made. Not all Moslems are terrorists, but all the terrorists are Moslem. He would not comprimise his principles, even when the rent was due, by apologizing for what he said.

You begin to wonder if there really is free speech in this country? The ACLU did not think enough to defend him, but the people from KFI in Los Angeles, CA did!

Counsil on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) complained, and they demanded not only an apology but his job. ABC buckled, but Michael did not. Henceforth he was fired.

Here is the complaint from CAIR:

The Council on American-Islamic Relations, the group that pressed for Graham's removal, said it received complaints Muslim listeners who heard Graham say, "Islam is a terrorist organization," "Islam is at war with America," "The problem is not extremism. The problem is Islam," and "We are at war with a terrorist organization named Islam."

This is a lie. We are not at war with Islam. Michael did not say that, nor would I. Neither did President Bush. We understand this is a minority of corrupted people using this religion as a cover to continue their propaganda and violence.

"When CAIR is able to quell dissent and label every critic a 'bigot,' the chilling effect is felt far beyond ABC Radio and 630 WMAL," Graham said at the time. "If anyone is owed an apology, it is the moderate, Muslim community that has been failed once again by the mainstream media."

Many of the moderate Moslems have been threatened, even in America, with bodily harm and even death if they were to speak out against these people. That is not the religion of Islam. Michael knows this, and has said so.

CAIR, on the other hand, took 3 months to recognize it was Muslims who actually attacked the USA on September 11, 2001! They also support Hamas and Hizbollah. Some of it's members have been arrested for donating monies to these terrorist organizations.

You decide who is a bigot and a danger to the USA. It may just be all those who cave to irrational bigotry. One thing is certain, it is not Michael! You may read the entire article here.
