A day of remembrance for Iran

Today is the day Iranian students were shocked by the Mullahs and police. On July 9, 1999, there was a protest by the students because the government had bannned a pro-reform newspaper, Salam.

There were actually 10 people who died, though the official report was only one poor soul who fell out a window and mysteriously ended up with a bullet in ther head.

There were going to be demonstrations today, but the "police" closed down Tehran's University. It is unknown what is planned for the rest of Iran. Students live all over Iran. We will know more later. I will try to find out more. Have a good day.
